De La Salle Kenya Trip : A Week in Snaps ! – Pics

*De La Salle Kenya Trip: A Week in Snaps!*

We are delighted to share an update on the twelve students and two teachers from De La Salle College who recently returned from their unforgettable Community Programme in Nanyuki, Kenya (October 25th – November 2nd). This dedicated group made a lasting impact on the local community and gained deep cultural insight—a truly transformative experience.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this programme through donations and fundraising! Your generosity made this journey possible. We hope you enjoy this selection of highlights from the team’s main activities:

* Library Transformation: Our students completed the library renovation at Ndururi Junior School, creating a dedicated learning environment for the local children.

* Community Sports & Education: The team connected with the local youth through sports activities and engaging educational sessions held at the stadium.

* Maasai Outreach: Students supported a medical outreach programme for the Maasai tribes, assisting healthcare professionals, followed by a visit to an authentic Maasai village.

* The trip culminated in a thrilling safari tour! The students spotted all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and African buffalo) and visited Baraka, the famous blind rhino.

We are incredibly proud of the twelve students and two teachers who made such a positive contribution to the Nanyuki community.
