TY Geography

Our TY Geography class enjoyed a fantastic EPSO walking tour of Dundalk today! 
Tour guide , Liam Gaynor was a true fountain of knowledge, bringing the town to life through its rich history, changing land use, population trends and fascinating geology.

The tour also linked beautifully with other subjects, including History, Art and Architecture, giving students a deeper appreciation of the town’s heritage and design.

Students will now use what they learned to further their study of Dundalk’s evolving land use and continue their work with ArcGIS mapping software.

A huge well done to the group, who were commended for their excellent behaviour throughout the tour.
