Victory for the Under 15 Footballers

A massive well done to our U15 Footballers who secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against St. Mary’s College yesterday in the North Eastern League Division 1 Quarter Final.

Playing away at the Marist grounds, the team showed great composure in a highly competitive local derby. St. Mary’s put in a stellar performance and pushed us right until the final whistle, making for a fantastic game of football.

Tom Johnston opened the scoring with a brilliant long-distance strike, followed by a clinical finish from Luciano Ngene. Full-back Blake Myles was the Della’s star performer with a dominant defensive display.

The win sees De La Salle progress to the Semi-Finals! The Under 15’s will face Boyne C.S. Trim at home next Wednesday in the North Eastern semi-finals. Congrats to the whole squad.
