Delicious Fruit Salads made by 1st Year Home Economics class.

Well done to our 1st Year Home Economics students who did a fantastic job making their very own fruit salads.

They learned how to:

Prepare and handle food safely

Use kitchen equipment correctly

Practice good hygiene

Work together and have fun in the kitchen!

The results were colourful, fresh, and delicious

Great teamwork and great chopping skills – well done.

Baking up a storm in the kitchen!

Our 1st Year Home Ec students baked their very own Queen Cakes today. They learned so much more than just how to follow a recipe!

They practiced:

Measuring ingredients accurately

Creaming method of cake making

Sieving

Using the oven safely

Time management

Hygiene & cleaning routines

All while boosting their confidence, teamwork, and having fun along the way!
