De La Salle U15’s League Triumph: Coláiste na Mí 0 – 7 De La Salle
De La Salle Under 15s secured an impressive 7-0 victory over Coláiste na Mí on Friday in the MDL in Navan. The deadlock was broken in the 8th minute when Luciano Ngene found the net with a spectacular wonder goal from 30 yards out.
The momentum carried through to the second half, where the De La Salle attack clicked, resulting in six additional goals that showcased a collective effort from the squad. The goals were scored by Luciano Ngene (who finished with a brace), Massimo Ngene, Aidan Soraghan, Reece Grimes, Kyle Woods and Fane Kelly.
Full back Nathan Kelly demonstrated his playmaking skills, driving the attack from deep and providing two crucial assists in the second half. Further assists came from Harry Quinlivan, Tom Johnston and Fane Kelly.
The Man of the Match award went to Luciano Ngene, who, along with his two goals, put in an impressive all-round display that helped steer De La Salle to victory.
