We are delighted to congratulate our students David Shevlin, Alex O’ Hagan and Cian Halpin on winning their debate which took place in the historic surroundings of Belvedere College, Dublin. The motion was “Well are those who live on a pension”, which the students opposed.
The students displayed outstanding presentation, confidence, rebuttal and teamwork, reflecting the enormous effort and preparation that went into their performance.
Well done also to their teachers, Mr Vaughan and Mr Ó Náraigh, for their guidance and support.
We wish the team every success as they prepare for the Regional Final— we are incredibly proud of you all!
