Guest Chef visits De La Salle – Pics

We were delighted to welcome guest chef Oliver McCabe from LA519 to our school for an engaging session with our TY and 6th Year Home Economics students. 

Oliver delivered an excellent workshop on the importance of nutrition for both physical and mental health, highlighting how fuelling our bodies properly can impact our mood, energy, and overall wellbeing. A key message was the importance of limiting ultra-processed foods.

Students got hands-on preparing and tasting smoothies, brownies, and a quinoa & chicken pesto dish. 

A fantastic and informative morning enjoyed by all. Thank you to Oliver for sharing such an important message.
